Writings

A Brief Dedication:

To start, we all remember that someone along the way inspires us to do something that we do today. It can be as simple as a kind word of encouragement from a relative or teacher. Mine was from, if my memory of over 45 years ago is accurate, Mr. Morris, my English teacher circa 1963? In any case, his prompting to write has always stayed with me and so…..

Books

My first book ever, “Why I buy Real Estate Instead of Golfing” has just been published by Outskirts Press, a self publishing company that helps authors through the entire process of developing the book and getting to market. The style of the book is loosely that of a favorite author, Bill Bryson, whose self deprecating wit and charm as a story teller has always fascinated me. In any case, it is a joy to finally have finished the book and it is due to be available in on-line bookstores by the end of 2009 (Barnes and Noble). You can order a copy now through Amazon either as hard copy or in a Kindle book electronic format.

Short Stories

Over the years I have written a number of short stories. Many stories prompted by childhood memories or strong emotions driven by some observation, event or news. They are random and span a variety of topics from light to dark. If you enjoy them, I hope that you’ll consider the book.  Click to view my short stories
